Whitefish public beach
I decided to be lazy today and after my early workload was completed, I took off on the bike to hang out at the public beach for the afternoon. Very hot in the sun, very cold in the water. I read my new book (Lone Survivor) a little bit while simmering away on the sand.
I did get checked out by a girl… a girl duck (it’s a start). She saw me from the water, made a bee-line straight to me, stood just outside of arms reach for a minute while looking me up and down, then turned away and went back to her swimming. I’m not sure if she liked what she saw or not.
I’m sure we could have had a happy life together.
On the ride back I stumbled onto my Datsun’s doppelganger (my Z on the right, doppelganger Z on the left) so I snapped a quick pic. I wonder if one is the evil-twin of the other? Evil runs in the veins of my Datsun, for sure. I miss her anyway.
Did you happen to check out the campground at Whitefish Lake? I am headed to that area this summer and would like to be in Whitefish town, or very close, but the campground doesn’t sound appealing besides the location.
Any input you cold share would be appreciated.
