Tully and Leigh

As I was finishing up at the Laundromat, I overheard the young couple (also working on their laundry) talking about dispersed camping so I strike up an conversation. As it turns out, Tully an Leigh are traveling around the West, seeing the sights for an undetermined amount of time. They are in their prime years and enjoying life. Last night’s rain and lightning show, along with the rain all-day today, brought them into town to get their chores done. Since the rain didn’t appear to be letting up any time soon, I invited them to come camp at the Moose Lodge as my guests, which they did.

Since the were heading south, into Yellowstone and Grand Teton, I gave them some ideas of places to camp and sights to see. We spent the rest of evening trading stories and drinking a few beers. In the morning we pooled together and had a breakfast-feast of pancakes, eggs, and potatoes before we parted ways to continue our independent journeys.

Great company for my final night here in Whitefish

PS, this makes three Leigh’s in the recent weeks: Swimming in Leigh Lake, Leigh of the Airstreamers, and Leigh of Leigh and Tully. Interesting…
