Yosemite Ntnl Park, Wapama Falls

Today I woke early to get into a hike to Wapama falls as early as possible. While I would have preferred to be hiking by 6am, the National Park does not open the gates until 8am. 7 miles past the gate is the dam which begins my 3-mile hike into the Hetch Hetchy valley and to the falls. I crossed the top of the dam and hiked through a dark tunnel to reach the other side of the reservoir where I settled in for another hour of moderate hiking to reach the falls. I hung out for a half hour or so and turned around to get back tot he van by lunch so I can get moving over the Tiogo Pass road.
