More tinkering in the van
As I near my departure date (still not known exactly) my enthusiasm begins to increase. That added enthusiasm influences me to tinker with ideas that have remained only a thought in the past.
The big project was to add a partition wall between the sleeping and living spaces in the van. A nice (and expensive) piece of wood along with a few hours of cutting to get the correct shape nearly finishes the job. A new curtain is in the process of being made (thanks to Imelda) which will complete it.
Another tinkering idea came from another van-dweller. Simply mounting an old mailbox to give a nice storage nook and add a little flavor to the otherwise boring interior. Not sure yet if the flavor is sweet or sour.
Looks good! Mail box is a neat idea although the sharp corners might give you a scab or two over time.
