Exploratorium

We spent Imelda’s final full-day in California in San Francisco at the Palace of Fine Arts and Exploratorium (we decided to leave Fisherman’s Wharf off the schedule). Again, it had been years since our last visit and many things had changed or been updated.

The weather had not improved over the previous day, still only in the 60’s and cloudy. It does not make the most enjoyable weather for a stroll around a park or beach.

As we left San Francisco, we hit heavy traffic (surprise!) to cross the GGB. Turns out, someone had decided to try to jump from the bridge, grid-locking the traffic on the bridge (everyone in CA has a rubber neck). By the time we got on the bridge, all there was to see was some Police cars and yellow tape. I can’t imagine why everyone felt the need to spectate yellow tape!
