This is the first time I have seen Dan in over a year and thanks to his doctor&#8217;s and care-staff, he is looking much better &#8211; with more hair, less weight, and even a smile. I visited for a few hours in the evening, bringing gifts from the Redwood National Park.<\/p>\n<p>I spent the night at Dan&#8217;s, waking up to low-teens on the thermometer.
