Impending civil disobedience

I have decided to stop waiting around for my government to get their act together and act like adults. Instead I will be visiting *my* lands this week. The National Parks are owned by the public, not by the government. They can stop taking my toll at the gates, but they will not stop me from seeing my own land.

Civil disobedience is the active, professed refusal to obey certain laws, demands, and commands of a government, or of an occupying international power. Civil disobedience is commonly, though not always, defined as being nonviolent resistance.

Mt Rainer and Mt St Helens can both be viewed without ever having to step foot on National Park land, and the truth of the matter is that they can not close down highways that pass through each park. That means I will still be allowed to pass *through* Olympic National Park and Mt Rainer, but apparently I am not suppose to enjoy the views. We will see about that!
